This blog: I originally created this blog primarily for my friends and family as I prepared to serve in the Peace Corps. One of the three goals of the Peace Corps’ mission is to help “promote a better understanding of other peoples on the part of all Americans,” and it is my hope that this blog has fulfill this goal in some ways. It was a useful tool for keeping in touch, answering questions, and sharing my experience. I continue to keep this blog both as a reference for prospective Peace Corps Volunteers and other interested readers, but also as a meaningful way to continue sharing ideas and happenings.
